Scientific Director at Sulzer Chemtech, responsible for technology qualification, IP strategy, validation of performance guarantees for new processes, and assessment of technical risks. Expert in refining, petrochemicals, and gas processing technologies with about 20 years of experience, including developments in natural gas processing and upgrading, LNG, methanol-to-olefins, low-carbon fuels and biofuels, decarbonization, and CCUS. Led and/or contributed to more than 10 technology industrialization projects.
Previously served as Head of the Natural Gas Upgrading Program at TotalEnergies, Director of the Total-ANR Industrial Chair Laboratory in France (2018–2022), Technology Commercialization Director for Gas Solutions at Sulzer, and Global Head of Sustainable Chemical Processes at Sulzer.
Member of the editorial board of the Green Carbon journal (Elsevier), member of the Total Professor Association. Lecturer for the “Catalysis in Refining & Petrochemicals” course (since 2012). Co-inventor of more than 150 patents and co-author of more than 60 publications.
PhD in Chemistry (2003, Russia/France), HDR (Habilitation in Chemical Engineering, 2020, France), EMBA (UK, 2014). Graduated cum laude from Lomonosov Moscow State University (2000, Russia).
