Dr. Doron Levin
Doron Levin holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg), an Honors B.Sc. degree in Operations Research from the University of South Africa, a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering Practice from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined the Mobil Technology Company (now part of ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering) in 1997. Doron is the recipient of two ExxonMobil Chemical Global Technology Awards and four ExxonMobil Process Research Innovator of the Year Awards. Doron received the 2011 SCI Gordon E. Moore Medal awarded by the Society for Chemical Industry for his remarkable track record of discovery, development and commercialization of novel catalytic processes for the environmentally beneficial production of chemicals, clean fuels and high performance lubricants. In 2017, Doron received the Thomas Edison Patent Award given the R&D Council of NJ. Doron’s entire research career has been in the field of catalysis, covering everything from discovery through development and commercial manufacturing of heterogeneous catalysts. Doron is currently the Materials and Applied Chemistry Chief Scientist for ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering.
