
Professor Ye Wang
Prof. Ye Wang obtained his PhD from Tokyo Institute of Technology of Japan in 1996. He then worked at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tohoku University and Hiroshima University, and was promoted to Associate Professor at Hiroshima University in 2001. He joined Xiamen University as a full professor in 2001. Prof. Wang served as the director of State Key Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Solid Surfaces during 2015-2022. He was the vice director of Catalysis Society of China from 2005 to 2012 and a council member of International Association of Catalysis Societies during 2012-2022. He is a fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry and Chinese Chemical Society. Prof. Wang is an Associate Editor of ACS Catalysis and is a member of Editorial Board or Advisory Board for many journals including Catalysis Reviews and EES Catalysis. Prof. Wang has co-authored more than 300 papers with citations of more than 30000 and an H-index of 95. The research interest of Professor Wang’s group is Catalysis (including Heterogeneous Catalysis, Photocatalysis and Electrocatalysis) for C1 and Sustainable Chemistry.
